The Viva Independent Schools make quality and equality in education accessible to underprivileged learners. Viva believes that poverty is a concealer of potential and quality education unveils it. Quality education turns the tide of poverty and is an investment into a better future.
The Viva Village Independent School in Mamelodi East has close to 300 learners, within a very volatile informal settlement, and utilises converted shipping containers as classrooms. Learners from Grade RR to Grade 7 receive care, meals, quality education and safety within the walls of the Viva Village.
The Viva Independent School, Refilwe campus was established in 2021 and has 60 learners from Grade RR to Grade 7. The campus likewise offers meals and education to its learners and is the event venue for all functions from both campuses.
Qualified, SACE registered teachers and staff offer an augmented CAPS curriculum. The Mamelodi Campus is fully registered with the EMIS Nr. 7004010 and the Refilwe Campus registration process is ongoing and duly submitted to the Department of Education.
